Access to accurate, timely and relevant information sources are important for an improved and increasing an agriculture production and crop yield for farmers.

Why is it important?
Our findings show that farmers acquired agricultural information from a variety of sources; however, the most readily available sources of information was co-farmers and the Mushroom Growers Association. The research also revealed that ignorance of information sources, lack of skills and technical know-how to use the information were identified as some obstacles of the farmers.
Perspectives
