What is it about?
The present article is about EU's largest transport connectivity project called the TRACECA. It resembles not one but several regional economic integration concepts . Launched in early nineties as an alternative to the trans-Siberian railway connectivity project between Europe and Asia, it achieved initial successive with great enthusiasm.Subsequently,however,its performance level dipped for the EU's own complications, besides the one's associated with the political stand off among and weak economic profiles of its certain partner states. Nonetheless, the article argues,that the EU has a potential to address these issues by its over-arched institutional framework and its newly announced Europe-Asia trade and transport connectivity vision.

Why is it important?
The article contends that the TRACECA is crucial for the Europe-Asian transport linking in the globalised world. It highlights TRACECA's importance in the backdrop of the EU's new 2018 Europe-Asia connectivity project .It shows that the project can instil confidence among the member countries to neutralise their innate issues through economic cooperation, and ,above all, transform the TRACECA landscape into a hub of global connectivity and economic prosperity.
Perspectives
This publication over-rides the perspective of many critics of EU and TRACECA . It combines the theoretical and historical studies for evolving a holistic view of the TRACECA in Europe-Asian context .
