Salinity and drought effects on bell pepper

What is it about?

We efforded to understand the difference between salinity and drought effects on bell pepper. We determined plant water consumption precisely by weighing. So we determined yield response factors for drought and salinity individually.

Why is it important?

We determined that plant response salinity and water deficit stress differently. By using yield response factor, we stated that at the same relative evapotranspiration decrease ratio, the bell pepper was more susceptible to drought. Water evapotranspiration and salinity relationship was polynomial for bell pepper.
