Sorority Member Relationship Impact on Body Dissatisfaction

What is it about?

This paper uses social network analysis to understand how sorority member interactions (feelings of closeness and time spent together) may interact with their feelings of body dissatisfaction.

Why is it important?

Until this point network analysis has not been used to examine the impact of relationships within a sorority on body dissatisfaction. Body dissatisfaction is very prevalent among college age women and can lead to many negative mental and physical health consequences.
