What is it about?

In this article, I will review Pihl’s translations from various perspectives. Specifically, I will introduce his books (two anthologies, one collection, and one monograph) and discuss his self-revisions of translations. Then, I will show more features of his translations, using different translations by other translators of the same original texts. This article, I hope, will promote an understanding of Pihl as a bicultural translator and provide some insights into how to enrich foreign literature in translation.
