What is it about?

the electrical porcelain elaborated by mixing raw materials (quartz, feldspath, kaolin...). the quartz has a beneficial effect on the properties of porcelain. Evolution of dielectric and mechanical properties with firing temperature has also been investigated in the electrical porcelain used for high voltage.

Why is it important?

The effect of fine-grained quartz powder increases the mechanical and dielectric strength of electrical porcelain because sub-micron particles dissolve into liquid matrix phase,On the other hand,the fine quartz particles disappear before the larger particles undergo a significant reduction in size in the sample bodies which translates into low micro-cracks.

Perspectives

This article is a summary of several years' research which explains the effect of quartz and temperature on porcelain properties, and I hope that the other researchers will find some information that helps them in this article
