Why is it important?
It highlights non-typical pathways to higher education, and the importance of providing spaces for every person to have access to the transformative benefits of formal education, regardless of typical societal notions of eligibility and capability.
Perspectives
This is my very personal story of becoming. My wonderful colleagues have supported me in gaining further insights into the incredible personal and professional growth that is possible when conditions to support that transformation are optimised. These findings have rich implications for the establishment of truly inclusive, empowering education across the spectrum of learning spaces.
