What are the common elements on Indiana public library homepages? Which elements should libraries consider adding, if they're not already used? We reviewed the homepages of all Indiana public libraries and present opportunities for libraries to improve their homepage design with basic and advanced options.

Our results indicate there are many ways libraries can enhance their homepage design to better promote their services and resources to their communities.
Perspectives
This article helped me think about what content is most important to feature on the library homepage: The library homepage is its digital front door, so what do you want it to say to your visitors and users? I hope this article helps other librarians think about what messages they want to convey to their users, based on the communities they serve.
