What is it about?
By application of potential, metal ions from metal ion loded resin/simulated decontamination solutions, were deposited on electrode in a three compartment cell separated by cation selective nafion membrane.

Why is it important?
In this method, we can increase the operating life of the purification system by electrochemical regeneration of resin and reduce the resin requirement. This will help in reducing the resin requirement during decontamination and hence a reduced radioactive organic waste volume.
Perspectives
Publishing this article was great pleasure and we will be happy after establishing these lab scale experiments in engineering scale.
