Increasing Arts Integration in Elementary Schools

What is it about?

A University professor and Elementary teacher work together to create integrated curriculum for a fourth grade classroom.

Why is it important?

Arts integration is the combination of art teaching with another core subject. It increases the amount of art that elementary students engage in. It also helps them learn content better. By working together, arts specialists and elementary teachers can produce curriculum to teach in integrated ways.
