What is it about?
This note points out the variety of relationship between saints and insects in the Golden Legend (James of Voragine) and some other ancient texts. Insects may be a sign that a child will have a fabulous destiny, appear as a punishment by almighty God or may be submitted and obey to the order of a man who is inhabited by God.
