What is it about?

Different factors can affect learners' test performance. We have studied some of these factors and proposed a model to examin the possible relationships and effects.

Why is it important?

The results of this study can help test developers to design tests while considering these factors and make testing procedure more effective. Teacher can notice that there some factors affecting their students learning and performance. They can help students to control these factors and make use of them. Test takers also can be aware of their own charactristics and try to improve their performance by considering their strengths and weaknesses.

Perspectives

Taking a test n EFL context is usually challenging for students and the performance includes something more than the mere ability. In order to make progross in learning and teaching English in EFL/ESL context, different factors and their connection in a model need to be considered as it is shown in this article.
