Why is it important?

Pragmatic studies on the history of Romance languages are less numerous than they deserve to be, and the book (and our review) adds to the knowledge of these issues.

Perspectives

Though being on various issues, the articles present nevertheless a certain homogeneity and offer interesting insights into the history of Romance languages.
