What is it about?
Cellulose is broken down to sugars by cellulase enzymes. Each enzyme holds on to its product sugar with different strength.

Why is it important?
This report shows that even though enzymes are of the same family and highly related in structure and function, the differences in binding of product are related to the method the enzymes use to break chemical bonds in cellulose.
