What is it about?
While trying bridging the gap between the molecular-scale interplay of actin and myosin molecules to the cell-scale behaviour of cells, we unravel how a material which is intrinsically liquid (it loses its structure in minutes through constant remodelling) can maintain a given shape like a solid — and adapt its mechanical response instantaneously!
