What is it about?

Hippocampus is an important brain region for many cognitive functions, such as episodic memory. Using large-scale fMRI datasets, we have shown how hippocampus is functionally specialized along an anterior-posterior axis, and how the hippcampal functional organization and its interaction with the rest the brain emerge in children and support episodic memory.
