Why is it important?
This article provides the best alternative to determine the arithmetic of interval numbers. If the arithmetic/algebra of intervals, so far does not guarantee the existence of an inverse for any interval number, then this paper provides an alternative for multiplication and division operations so that any interval number will have an inverse. With the existence of an inverse guarantee for any interval number, the arithmetic/algebra that we offer can be used for various applications of interval numbers in various fields that use interval numbers or interval matrices.
