What is it about?
The study's objective was to use the Kirby-Bauer Technique to evaluate the sensitivity of diverse bacteria to 30 different antibiotic types. At the city of Al-Samawah, the study was carried out between December 2022 and January 2023, A unique device (Sims' vaginal speculum) was used to collect vaginal swab samples from 40 female patients with bacterial vaginosis infections.

Why is it important?
Helping to encourage urine culture and choosing the appropriate antibiotic for the bacterial infection without need to take antibiotics randomly, which leads to exacerbation of the problem and the creation of a new bacterial generation resistant to antibiotics.
Perspectives
1-Before using arbitrary antibiotics, screen for antibiotic resistanc 2- Limiting the indiscriminate use of antibiotics for bacterial infections that may or may not exist. 3- Use of antibiotics for bacterial illnesses should be rational and stringent.
