What is it about?
This paper is about how to improve car bumpers' design so that it can remanufactured. Three bumper models were examined based on life-cycle thinking criteria. Recommendations on how to improve the bumper design are provided to support the circular economy practice.

Why is it important?
In many accidents only small parts of the bumpers are damaged. By improving the bumper design, the damaged part can be fixed or replace, leaving the large intact parts to be reused.
Perspectives
I hope this article helps car manufacturers to improve their design so that many parts of the bumper can be reused after minor crashes.
