What is it about?
In Electron Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-EB), metal layers fuse using a concentrated electron beam, akin to layer-by-layer construction in polymer 3D printing. Our machine, MiniMelt, allows to utilize high-energy x-rays to observe the electron beam's interaction with metal powder, aiming to enhance the PBF-EB process and design superior alloys.
