What is it about?
Two acoustic bubbles can attract when submitted to an ultrasound field. Here we demonstrate that they can approach and be stabilized into a quasi-contacting bubble pair. Such an effect results from the sign reversal of the interaction force acting between the two bubbles, creating a new dynamically-stable equilibrium location.
