The origin of dwelling house theories has been studied from a historical aspect through the findings of archaeologists and vernacular houses that is bound by cultural values and regional traditions. Traditional house is not the final product that has been passed down by generation rather it continues to develop as a form of the Craft Evolution process

Why is it important?

Dwelling houses are one of the most commonly built architectural products that have continued to grow over time. The origin of dwelling house theories are generally described from historical and cultural aspects. Apart from archaeological findings, traditional houses can also be studied to determine the origins of dwelling houses. Therefore, many preliminary studies have examined traditional houses from the point of view of their culture, customs, and vernacular values
