What is it about?
The addition of vermiculite to concrete mixes, where vermiculite has a very high absorption of water. This turns out to have a good impact on the characteristics of concrete, especially on the compressive strength of concrete. This is because the water content in the concrete decreases and the gaps in the concrete are filled by the vermiculite granules.
