What is it about?
Here we have designed a 2D model of an inlet of a ramjet engine and run the fluid flow simulation in it . Different cases have been taken , which are : changing the position of the spike , the cone angle of the spike and the test is run for different Mach Numbers , which helps us actually know , in which combination of the spike angle and position , we get the optimal pressure recovery rate at the inlet for a better combustion

Why is it important?
This projects helps us know , how we can design an ramjet inlet which has the best pressure recovery rate at lower supersonic speeds and at higher supersonic speeds .
