What is it about?

This study indicated a significant association between Annona and turmeric plants extract and reduction of hepatocellular damage. These results were based on an animal trial and should not be used for clinical purposes. However, this trial can be used asa base for other trials to measure the impact of plant induced antioxidant activityon liver biomarkers.

Why is it important?

This study indicated a significant association between Annona and turmeric plants extract and reduction of hepatocellular damagethis but this study was based on small sample of albino rats due to limited resources. Therefor,it is recommended to use similar trial on a larger sample group. Moreover, it is unpractical to use of CCL4induced liver damage in human. Therefore, future researchers would consider different methods for measuring theassociation in human.

Perspectives

These results confirmed that curcumin and Acetogenins have direct action on mitochondria, plasma membranes and the Golgi reticular apparatus and its selectively attacks cancercells. In addition, it suppressed hepatic fibrogenesis and one of our intreseting in this research is that current plants were succeeded in proven useful for immunity, antioxidants and thier protective effect of liver injury.
