What is it about?

This work presents a method for determining the composition of a beam emitted by an ion source based on timed measurements of the downstream current. The results show that the beam composition can be accurately determined and provides a measure of the uncertainty in the beam composition. Also shown is the presence of ion clusters in the beam that where hypothesized to exist, but could not be proven until now.
