What is it about?

We have reported some important features of flow stability and wave formation over wavy plate with nonuniform temperature variation. It is shown that bottom steepness ζ has a dual role. In the downhill region increasing ζ destabilizes whereas in the uphill region increasing ζ stabilizes.

Why is it important?

Here we studied effects of linear temperature variation on the flow over a wavy bottom.

Perspectives

Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaborations. I hope this article makes what people might think about nonuniform temperature variation of wavy bottom.
