What is it about?
Dormancy period in seed delays the germination and crop production process. Many seeds have dormancy time from months to year. It is observed in first time that electromagnetic exposure stimulate the germination process.

Why is it important?
Methods available for breaking physical seed dormancy are mainly chemical methods and few are mechanical methods. During chemical treatment on seed for breaking dormancy chemicals inserted or absorbed by seed which are harmful. Similarly in mechanical method scarification, rubbing or thermal shocks provided to seed which causes damage to seeds.But proposed method is safe with all respect.

I hope the researchers, agronomist, farmers may get benefited by this article. It is in preliminary stage as very few work available in these them.This article may help in gross production of crop all over the country.
