Why is it important?

Split ring resonators are having huge interest among researchers due to its properties of negative magnetic permeability which we can achieve at a certain frequency range, but their is certain scalling limit arises when we switch the device beyond infrared such that SRR become dysfunctional, we use this model to make SRR operational even at optical frequency range, its not only improve its performance at optical frequency but help to make it improve version over other losses

Perspectives

We worked on inductance of the device, specially inertial inductance which dominates over magnetic inductance at lower dimensions, due to which magnetic responce reduces, we improve magnetic responce of the SRR at optical frequency by reducing down the inertial inductance.
