Iraqi wheat cropping system has been affected negatively by aggressive diseases such as FHB and FCR that caused by several Fusarium species, therefore attention has to be payed

Why is it important?

Our finding show that several strategies such as cultural practices, environmental conditions, amendment of soil parameters can help in controlling or reducing the risk come from both diseases, and as a result increases the quantity of wheat grains and keep the quality less affecting by their mycotoxins.

Perspectives

Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has a good author with whom I have had long standing collaborations. This article also lead to specific molecular analysis which led me to contact with a great genetic group and ultimately to a greater involvement in distinct research areas .
