What is it about?
Half-Heusler alloys are proved to be excellent candidates for thermoelectric applications. We have shown by first principal calculations and experimental investigation of their LiZn- based family members, that mechanical properties in relationship with thermodynamics allow their versatile applications in a wide temperature range below the Debye temperature
