What is it about?

HVAC systems in homes and office buildings are a major source of power consumption that result in high electricity bills. To combat the problem as well as save energy and resources for future, this work presents a way of implementing thin films on to windows that can function as a low powered HVAC replacement by requiring few batteries instead of consuming a huge amount of electricity.

Why is it important?

With the current issue of energy resource depletion, it is of paramount importance to use low powered device and save energy wherever possible. To that end, this work here can help us save a major chunk of energy which could lead to not only the saving of energy sources but also saving of a lot of money, that in turn could be used for other important sectors.


Writing this article with my co-authors with whom I have had a very pleasurable experience working with has been an honor. This has given me chance to contribute to the larger scientific community working towards the betterment of the humanity.
