What is it about?

The manuscript concerns the application of recurrence plots and of their quantitative description provided by recurrence quantification analysis (RQA). The technique allows for the identification of sudden phase-changes possibly pointing to mechanistically relevant phenomena. Therefore, RQA may suit to study changing in metabolism during incremental exercises test that permit an individually tailored program of exercises for obese subjects.
