What is it about?

A study was made on the climatic variability of the past 420 ka in the Iberian Margin, using a non-linear analysis to be able to determine through the maximum exponent of Lyapunov if there was a chaotic behavior in the time series of the region.

Why is it important?

The relevance of this work lies in the fact that it is important to understand how the climate system works in order to predict and understand it as well as possible.

Perspectives

It is expected that our work managed to provide the necessary knowledge to understand the past and future climate. Similarly, it is a good opportunity to highlight the relevance of a non-linear study as a complementary part when analyzing the behavior of the climate system.
