What is it about?

This article presents a practical Wheatstone bridge scheme with 4xPt1000 resistances used for direct temperature difference measurements. This circuit has been constructed and tested with an average class Pt1000s to show that the results are still satisfactory and accurate.

Why is it important?

Such a measurement tool is ideal for precise ebullioscopic and cryoscopic measurements. In addition, we avoid subtracting the results of two separate temperature measurements, as this increases the overall error and uncertainty.
