What is it about?

Software development processes are easier to understand using graphical languages. The ArchiMate language was chosen for this. It demonstrates the technical processes described in the standard ISO / IEC / IEEE 12207: 2017 “Software life cycle processes”.

Why is it important?

The possibility of using the ArchiMate language is demonstrated not only for describing the architecture of systems, but also for describing software development processes.

Perspectives

I hope that in the future ArchiMate will become the lingua franca for enterprise managers, systems analysts, systems engineers, system architects, and software developers.
