What is it about?
Mobile Health (Mhealth) apps services for health behavior rehabilitation have become a demand in healthcare and medical segments. However, Mhealth apps' poor adoption and high rate of discontinuation may occur due to risk perception of those apps. This review paper introduced perceived risks of Mhealth apps and proposed the role of the organizational facilitators that could tackle or reduce the impact of risk perception among consumers while using Mhealth apps. The review paper used a literature review from 4 databases and included 16 articles to analyse diverse risks types that may consumers perceive in the initial utilization stage for Mhealth apps. Despite few studies have deliberated the organizational facilitators (Endorsement, Awareness, loyalty, cost, facilitating condition, regulation, and data protection), there is a need to explore those facilitators in different Mhealth apps and population composition.
