What is it about?
This research sees the importance of the existence of textbooks in policy formulation lectures for undergraduate students of public administration. Based on observations of textbook intervention into the learning process, it is known that there is an increase in knowledge which can be seen in the increase in grades as an indicator of knowledge level.

Why is it important?
Our findings show that policy formulation textbooks can still be a reference for students in learning in the midst of modern conditions of online references.
Perspectives
Writing this research makes me believe that the existence of textbooks is still very important for student development, especially for learning about public policy.
