Bitumen is a widly used road construction material. A modification is the process of improving bitumen properties by introducing various additives into it. Modified bituminous binders are multicomponent mixtures, whose properties depend on the concentration of their constituents. The article consideres mathematical models that can be used to design the modified bitumens with required properties.

Perspectives
In the work the concentrations of the studied modifiers that can provide required heat and frost resistance of the binder have been determined. The mathematical models have been checked for adequacy; it has been concluded that they can be used in the design process of modified road bituminous binders with the studied additives.
