What is it about?
This study is about identify the current condition of the paratransit network in Cirebon City West Java Indonesia, inventory the overlap between paratransit and Transit system network called Trans Cirebon, and then analyze the impact of the existence of Trans Cirebon network on the paratransit network in Cirebon City by interpretation and overlay method using Geographic Information System (GIS)

Why is it important?
Our findings show that if there is overlapping between the paratransit and the transit system network it will weaken the resilience of the paratransit system so that in this study we recommends to make changes of several paratransit routes that overlap with the Trans Cirebon network by setting the Trans Cirebon route as the trunk route and the paratransit route as the feeder route.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaborations. I hope that this article will have a positive impact on the development of public transportation in Indonesia, especially in Cirebon City, West Java, where I come from.
