We have reviewed the simulation modeling problems concerning the technological process of transport support. We have proposed the solutions to optimization problems. An optimal path algorithm has been developed in the Anylogic software. Also, the optimization process of the number of vehicles in the specified conditions has been performed. The results of computer experiments are given.

Why is it important?

We have reviewed the simulation modeling problems concerning the technological process of transport support. We have proposed the solutions to optimization problems. An optimal path algorithm has been developed in the Anylogic software. Also, the optimization process of the number of vehicles in the specified conditions has been performed. The results of computer experiments are given.

Perspectives

The review of the papers by foreign and domestic researchers helped to form the action mechanism of the transport support system: its scope of application, various techniques for solving the set goals and objectives. These techniques are mainly intended for analyzing the transport support operation of large enterprises. Today, many Russian enterprises, adapting foreign experience, are introducing various approaches to logistic support management based on MRP, MRPII, ERP, DRP, etc. systems into their production and economic activities. Currently, one of the most attractive systems is the “just-in-time” (“just-in-time”, JIT-system). The subject area was studied in detail; a system approach was performed based on its analysis, and the requirements for building a simulation model of transport support were identified. Afterwards, the analysis of software tools was performed. Using them, it is available to build models of various levels of complexity. Next, AnyLogic modeling software was selected. A simulation modeling capable of searching for the optimal route was developed as a result of the conducted research. An algorithm has been created. It enables the processing of the request, which, as a result of the work, gives additional capacity to the enterprise due to the distribution of resources
