Using machine learning for novel energetic material discovery

What is it about?

We used used the Sen-Rai machine learning algorithm to learn and then predict the relationship between microstructure and sensitivity in the explosive PBX 9502 across low pressure ranges. We we able to determine the key microstructure parameter in determining the explosive sensitivity.
