What is it about?

Microbubbles can be used for many micro-scale applications, such as mixers and motors. To design better devices, we need to understand the way bubbles with unique shapes interact with their surroundings. We studied the bubbles’ response to acoustic waves, and the resulting force they apply. To do so we developed a model and conducted experiments.
