What is it about?
The problem of making choice of either to keep old bricks or to replace those ones with new brick was taken into consideration. What we have done was to categorize the brick situation into 04 states for making choices. Not only the bricks themselves but also a portion ofnearby brick collection to be concerned.

Why is it important?
Making choice of either old bricks to be remained as they were, or new bricks to be placed on the masonry is a story. Bonding agent as mortar is another story, in which the lime proportion in old mortar is considered to new mortar ingredient to be put in.
Perspectives
With our of teamwork in practice, we expect to share our consideration and to learn from others experts, in terms of physical-chemical properties of masonry block restoration of old building.
