Why is it important?

It's hard to control two hollow cylindrical droplets impact on flat surface simultaneously in experiment. The numerical investigation will provide a better understanding of hollow droplet impingement and heat transfer on flat surfaces in many fields.

Perspectives

Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaborations. This article also lead to the focus for the multiple hollow droplets impact and ultimately to a greater involvement in the related field research.
