What is it about?

Estimating the maximum allowable rooftop photovoltaics penetration on a distribution grid without any performance violation is a necessity. For this reason, an appropriate strategy for simulating the uncertainty distribution of large scale rooftop photovoltaics is required. Therefore, on the basis of accuracy assessment, we provide a comprehensive evaluation of rooftop photovoltaics allocation strategies.

Why is it important?

To prevent failures caused by the rooftop photovoltaics penetration, an accurate hosting capacity estimation is important. By characterizing the rooftop photovoltaic penetration, developing LDRCPA (locational dependence constrained rooftop photovoltaic allocation) strategies, and providing the accuracy evaluation, based on the evaluative methodological approach, a study of rooftop photovoltaic allocation strategies evaluation of hosting capacity analysis has been comprehensively provided in this article. The results can be used by electric distribution planner and operator to deal with the massive growth of rooftop photovoltaics penetration.

Perspectives

The uncertainty of rooftop photovoltaics penetration is a big obstacle in providing an accurate hosting capacity estimation. Therefore, we are very happy we can finish this work. We hope it can help everyone in this field of study.
