What is it about?

Inner shell ionization cross-section information helps to understand, characterization of used target atoms in the following fields: astrophysics, plasma physics, radiation protection, design of instruments, energy transfer by electron on or in tissues study required. In this study, O shell and Oi(i =1,.,5) subshells ionization cross sections σO and σOi(i =1,.,5) for (105Db, to118Uuo)atoms are calculated. For each of atoms, 14 electron impact energy Which chosen very close to ionization threshold energy.

Why is it important?

The presented study is part of our O subshell ionization cross-section studies of atoms which started in 2017. Starting all most from ionization threshold energy values; ionization cross-sections are increasing rapidly with electron impact energy Eo. For higher Eo values this increments getting smaller for every Oi subshells. For a fixed electron impact energy while Z value increases from 105≤Z≤118. Oi subshell ionization cross-sections of 105Db to118Uuo decrease with Z. Results may help to understand data obtained from other electron impact excitation of Oi subshells ionization cross-sections studies for similar size single atoms. These measurements could be used a reference data.
