What is it about?
A mathematical model to correctly simulate the heat transfer phenomenon in thin liquid films.

Why is it important?
With proper optimization, this phenomenon can be used in applications where extremely high heat is to be removed from an extremely small area.
Perspectives
While studying mathematical modelling of micro loop heat pipes, I came across this phenomenon called 'thin film evaporation', and after some mild reading into it, my interest was piqued. During the course of my study, I noticed some drawbacks in the modelling methodology. We have tried to address these drawbacks in this paper.
