What is it about?
Comparison of seismic isolation technologies with conventional ways of construction of various buildings shows high efficiency of seismic isolation and its numerous advantages: high reliability, low cost, decrease of seismic forces about 3 times

Why is it important?
To make people understand that seismic isolation not only saving buildings and people during the earthquakes but also increasing the quality of people's lives, as they feel earthquakes from 8 to 10 times less
Perspectives
Paper shows great perspectives in further implementation of seismic isolation systems in earthquake prone countries as buildings being equipped with such systems are not getting damages during the earthquakes, nothing happen with furniture or expensive equipment. So, there is no need to invest additional funds for restoration of seismic isolated buildings after the earthquakes
