Why is it important?
This area is under-researched and more data is required that can provide evidence for the impact of theatre and its relationship to internationalism.
Perspectives
This article builds on my previous research in contemporary playwriting and was written before the UK decided to leave the European Union. Its conclusions are even more relevant today as a result of Brexit.
